Job Purpose:      

Responsible for the planning, development, and execution of VENTURE’s strategic marketing function, with a direct focus on lead generation, member growth, brand management, digital capitalization, and revenue growth. This will be done through the use of relevant marketing strategies that are aligned to organizational objectives which translates into measurable outcomes supporting increased sales, market share, and overall revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Planning, Strategy and Budgeting
 
  • Develop, execute and monitor marketing plan.
  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget.
  • Translate the organizational strategy into targeted marketing campaigns that generate quality leads to support loan conversion.
  • Develop product and sales campaigns to increase loan uptake and member engagement.
  • Establish systems to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Monitor market trends, member needs, and competitor activity to protect market share.
  • Review VENTURE brand positioning against changes to industry trends.
  • Strengthen brand awareness, visibility, and public image across all channels.

Digital Marketing Strategy
 
  • Lead the digital marketing strategy to maximize online reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Oversee website management, email marketing and online campaigns.
  • Analyze and optimize digital and social media performance to improve ROI.


Lead Generation
 
  • Collaborate with GMSS to align marketing with sales execution.
  • Track and report lead conversion rates and revenue outcomes.


Strategic Communications
 
  • Ensure marketing communications are clear, targeted, and aligned to strategic and sales       objectives.
  • Coordinate development of marketing materials and promotional content.

Marketing Metrics
 
  • Establish and monitor marketing performance metrics including lead generation, conversion rates, cost per lead, and revenue contribution.
  • Analyze campaign results and implement continuous improvements.

Managing
 
  • Provide leadership and performance management for marketing staff.
  • Ensure that staff within the marketing function is cross train to support team development.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand member needs and support total member satisfaction.
  • Serve on committees as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.
 


Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent qualifications.  
  • Three (3) years project management experience
  • At least five (5) years Managerial experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Proven experience in meeting and exceeding targets

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to manage work and multi task to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Exceptional oral, written, editing and presentation-based communications skills
  • Good problem solving and decision making skill.

  • CEO

  • Authorized to prepare operational and informational reports and make recommendations for improvement.
  • The Marketing & Communications Manager has authority as delegated by the CEO.
  • Authorized to recommend changes to policies relevant to the Marketing and Communications function.
